  Disapointed in the contempt and lack of respect for people of other religions. I was told by a long-standing elder from this Congregation that anyone participating in Military service is committing a sin against God and must repent and beg forgiveness. I was told that a possible exception might be fighting to stop etrocity from being committed against Christians, which was sometimes sanctioned by God. But it is a sin and an affront to God even if a Military action is being fought to stop horrific etrocity from being committed against JEWS! When questioned, this statement was justified by this elder because Jews do not accept God's Son, Jesus. Very BIGOTED! I later found information in archived Watchtower publications however, which clearly stated that God would NEVER AGAIN punish people in war based on their race (after the Battle of Jeruselem). These articles were specifically regarding the Jews who were cruelly exterminated based entirely on their race and ethnicity.
